Our Vision
God has given us a multifaceted vision to reach our community for Christ. We are committed towards meeting both the spiritual and physical needs of our people.
Five years ago we began our Food Pantry which provides food, clothing, and free counseling to over 100 families weekly and over 500 families per month. Our food pantry then evolved the LOJ Caring Hands Community Development Corporation, which was formed a mere 2 years ago. The LOJ Caring hands CDC is a non-profit organization that serves our community in whichever capacity it finds possible.
This vision then gave birth to the program, Changing our Cities for Christ, or COCFC. Headed by Pastor Cassiaus, this new venture trains over 30 men and women to occupy key leadership positions in both the corporate and religious worlds. COCFC has taken the Matthew 10:42 principle, "And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no ways lose his reward."
As God continues to impregnate us with more ideas, so will they be birthed at the appointed times. The best is yet to come!
